       The BOY-WR06-F split-type ultrasonic open channel flowmeter is a non-contact flow monitoring device based on the ultrasonic ranging principle, specifically designed for flow measurement in open channels (such as drainage ditches, rivers, irrigation channels, etc.). Its core consists of an ultrasonic sensor and a main unit. The sensor is installed above the channel and calculates the liquid level height by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic signals. Combined with the preset channel geometric parameters (such as weir type, slope, etc.), it automatically converts them into real-time flow data. This equipment features high precision (±1%), corrosion resistance, and maintenance-free operation. It is suitable for fields such as sewage treatment, water conservancy monitoring, and chemical discharge.        BOY-WR06-F split-type ultrasonic open channel flowmeter sensor emits ultrasonic pulses towards the liquid surface, receives the reflected signal and calculates the time difference, and obtains the liquid level height through sound velocity compensation.The flow rate can be calculated in real time by combining the flow-liquid level formulas of standard weirs and channels such as Parchel channels and triangular weirs, or by using user-defined channel parameters. After processing the data, the host outputs digital/analog signals. Some models support wireless transmission (such as LoRa, NB-IoT).

1. How to determine the installation height?

It is recommended that the sensor is installed at a distance of 0.3 to 0.5 meters from the highest liquid surface to avoid interference from splashing.

2. Is the measurement affected by foam?

Foam can absorb ultrasonic waves; therefore, it is necessary to choose a model resistant to interference or to install a wave guide pipe.

3. Does the channel slope variation affect accuracy?

The actual slope must be entered in the parameter settings; otherwise, it will cause errors.

4.How to deal with channel siltation?

Regularly clean the silt near the measurement point or select a side-mounted sensor.

5.How to troubleshoot abnormal data?

Check the sensor angle, power supply stability, and parameter settings; restart the system as a priority.
